This was another fun and massive project for Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin!
Foodie and Food Network host Justin Warner came aboard to host a series of tasting events with Wisconsin cheese makers! Utilizing two different real locations (School House Restaurant in Paoli, WI, and Fort Atkinson Club in Fort Atkinson, WI), we set up a beautiful sit-down cheese tasting, then invited the cheese makers themselves to come and discuss their creations on camera.
This was a super fun job to direct and DP. Justin did his magic hosting and interviewing the talent, while I directed camera coverage from behind the scenes. Utilizing an IFB earpiece, I was able to direct follow-up questions and client feedback to Justin in order to keep the conversation flowing without breaking for notes. Justin is a natural talent on camera and did an amazing job holding down a conversation while getting additional notes in his ear.
The schedule was stacked on this one, and Food Stylist Laurel Ziemienski and Prop Master Mark Wojahn did an amazing job with unique table settings and cheeseboards for every guest.
