Well I had a new experience the other day, and that was shooting a project while jet lagged in the states! I have landed in other countries and started shooting right away, but its definitely different (not sure if its better or worst) to shoot a project jet lagged after getting home.

Right after getting back from Japan I shot a project for Weathervane Music, the awesome music non profit i have shot for int he past. This time we were filming a recording session produced by Scott from Dr. Dog. He wrote a song and then had various musicians, mostly from Dr. Dog and Me Without You record the track.

As always, the Weathervane Music projects are a blast to film. It never feels like work, but more so just hanging out and watching a recording session.

I’ve gotten a bit behind with my updates. I recently returned from a six week trip, the first three weeks working on the feature doc Play Money and the second three weeks traveling solo and shooting photos. I did a pretty decent job at keeping up with the photos while I was on the road but my blog is now finally up to date.

Out of all the photos I shot there are a few post I like the best. Make sure not to miss my photos from the Tokyo fish market. Also worth checking out are my photos from Seoul, the DMZ and Busan, Korea. I’ll be putting up a gallery from the Tokyo fish market and also a gallery from Korea shortly but until then you can check out all the Japan post here and all of the Korea post here!

I have to say its always tough to come back home after a long and awesome trip, but I’m feeling refreshed and ready for a good year!
