I just worked on an amazing and really fun project with the wonderful guys from Radiant Features, an LA based documentary production company. We were shooting a profile piece about Herve Descottes, an amazing lighting designer who just created all the lighting for the new High Line Park in Chelsea. If your not familiar with the High Line, check it out!

We shot on the HPX500 and a 5d mkII, I also did a small amount of time-lapse with long shutter speeds for the project. First we shot at Herve’s SoHo studio and then with him on the High Line. After a very long day, we had a wonderful dinner at The Standard, a very awesome restaurant that Herve also designed the lighting for. Projects like this remind me of why I love documentary film making. Great crew members, great subjects, and great locations.
