I shot a few photos the other night for the Girard Home News, where my buddy Matt works. Matt had an ACL surgery so I filled in for a shoot. Although I have been a long time photographer and incorporate a lot of still photography into my video work (both personal and commissioned projects) this was the first time I have shot a straight up newspaper assignment. The event was held to honor the elders of the Francisville neighborhood of Philadelphia.
