NOLA SUMMER 2008

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Once again, I traveled to New Orleans to produce a documentary for the non-profit ReThink. I was only in NOLA for 5 days, most of which was spent working. Unfortunately I did not have a ton of free time but I did managed to snap off a few shots. I really wanted to do a panorama of bourbon street but it never happened! Oh well, maybe next summer.

NOLA car
I haven’t seen a car like this since I was in Budapest a few years ago.

PETAL PEDAL
A stencil that i thought was really cool.

BB court NOLA
A prime example of why I was in NOLA. A basketball backboard at a school that was twisted around 180 degrees from Hurricane Katrina. A lot of schools still have not been fixed up.

NOLA
A house on the block where I was staying.

COLIN LENTON IN BED AND BREAKFAST IN NOLA
Like last summer I was working with photographer Colin M. Lenton. We were put up in a very quint B&B. Colin got the bed with the canopy while I slept on the fold out bed. At least I had a desk in my room!
