Old to Me, New to You (part 3)

Wednesday, January 24th, 2007

Well this is my final post of photos i shot this time last year, but never posted. So here we go with the last round.

Budapest’s Train station

Prauge’s Old Town Square

Vienna

Slovakia’s Main Train Station… dont ask.

Budapest - seeing as how i am a vegaterian, sam thought this sign was funny.

Prauge

This is a picture from Matt’s and I train party while on the way to the winter games. One of the msot fun nights of my entire time there.

This is what i liked about rome, the random, and strange things that would happen. As i was riding by the colosseum one day, a “roman” guard ask if he could ride my bike. Of course i said yes and snapped this picture.

Amsterdam 1 - BOOM!!!

Amsterdam 2 - i dont know what these says

Amsterdam 3 - i do know what these says

Amsterdam 4 - heineken brewery

Here is part two of old pictures i never posted. I’ll start with some pictures from Florence and a few other pictures from the BMX Jam.

A cool looking bike.

A collage of poster that creates an interesting texture.

Exhibit A. Florence had a lot of cool art on the walls. A lot of it seemed to be stenicles.

Exhibit B.

Looking up at the inside of the duomo.

Looking down at the inside of the duomo.

This is Fabio. Other then Cristian, Fabio was my other good friend in Italy. He was one of the nicest and out going people that i have ever met.

I love the fact they built ramps around this beat up old car.

This is the part of Rome that the average tourist doesn’t see. Once you got outside of the main downtown area, there was a fair amount of Urban Decay (it made me feel at home, haha!) This building was right behind the Squat where the bmx contest was held.

PICTURES YOU NEVER SAW! PART 1

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

So exactly one year ago i took my first airplane ride and landed in Rome, Italy. The whole experience there and all the places i traveled too was quite an eye opener. Altough i wish i was traveling right now, i figured a good way to celebrate the one year anversity would be to post some photos that i never posted before. I also figured this is good way to go through all my old photos and organize them. So here is part 1!

So maybe you remeber the picture i took in Naples of the old guy in the boat at sunset. This was the picture i shot a few frames later. This is the same old guy (i believe) putting some stuff into his shed.

This is the main piazza in Naples.

Well i think this sign says where i was when i took this. 91 km from naples and 137 from roma.

We met this old guy on the way up Mount Vesuvius, he witnessed the last eruption in 1944 and had a book about it.

Just a view looking out from the vatican.

Another view looking at the vatican.

A shot of the vatican on easter sunday. The pope would be in this shot, but he was blocked by the obelisk.

Haha! this is a picture of my self after i got back from the island ventotene.

So this ends the first look back at photos i never posted before. I have more to come so keep an eye out!
