ABOUT
I am a Director of Photography based out of New York City. My focus is on a mix of commercial and highly stylized documentary.
My work on features, non-profits, & broadcast has taken me across the globe;
Including shooting environmental issues in Colombia, virtual video
game ecomonies in China, & non-profit work in New Orleans. I covered
the 2008 elections for the IFC as director of photography, covering
the Obama campaign from small town halls in New Hampshire to election night in
Chicago.
My work has been seen on IFC, TLC, MTV & NBC Philadelphia and has received numerous awards & grants.
In addition, my photography has been featured on MotherJones.com & distributed internationally at screenings and in publications.
Beyond my freelance work, I have taught as an adjunct professor in the journalism
department at Temple University (spring 2009 & Fall 2009) and I'm also a skilled bicycle mechanic. My long love affair for two wheels has recently evolved into
my newest hobby of vintage 1970s motorcycles.
I own and operate a Panasonic HPX170 with Letus35 adapter and a Canon 5d mkII. I'm also experienced on higher end cameras
such as the Panasonic HPX3000, Panasonic HDX900, Aaton XTRprod and Aaton A-minima. I work as a local in both NYC and Philadelphia and of course welcome the oppurunity to travel. For rates and availability please contact me at:
